Executive MBA Program
Duration
The Executive MBA course at the Zollverein School lasts 20 months. The
first 16 months are designated for on-site attendance at the School.
During this period students attend four-day intensive seminars at the

during the summer months and after the second term, during the winter
months, eight-day project sessions take place. Masters dissertations are
completed during the final four months of the course, and therefore only
a small number of teaching sessions are held in Essen.

Students currently participating on the Executive MBA course are all
employed, and range in age from their late 20s to late 30s.

Classes are held in the new building of the Zollverein School of
Management and Design on the Zollverein World Heritage Site in Essen.
Classes are conducted in German and English.
